Skin cancer is one type of deadly skin disease. This skin cancer is caused by the growth of malignant cells in the skin. There are several types of skin cancer, they are melanoma, actinic keratosis, basal cell carcinoma, and squamous cell carcinoma. Skin cancer is one of the conditions that can arise from sun exposure to skin that is not well protected for a long time.

The characteristics of  disease is characterized by the presence of moles on the skin that changes color, elevation, shape, size, and others. In addition, the presence of bloody moles also need to be aware of.

Skin Diseases Caused by Autoimmune Disorders

The next type of skin disease can be caused by autoimmune disorders. Autoimmune disorders may attack somebody when healthy body tissue is attacked by the immune system. Here are some types of skin diseases caused by autoimmune disorders:

1. Psoriasis

The first example of a skin disease caused by autoimmune disorders is psoriasis. This type of skin disease is a condition where skin cells grow and develop too quick and then it will accumulate and show some reddish spots accompanied by silver scales.

2. Vitiligo

Furthermore, there is Vitiligo which occurs during the production of melanin by the skin cell do not work properly. Consequently, the skin will not get its color anymore and then white patches will show up. Vitiligo may attack all skin types, but it commonly happen to people who have dark skin.

3. Pemphigus

The next type of skin disease caused by autoimmune disorders is Pemphigus. Pemphigus is dividedn in to types, they are pemphigus foliaceus and pemphigus vulgaris. Pemphigus foliaceus comes with crusty skin along with small blisters which may be itchy when they are broken. Meanwhile, Pemphigus vulgaris is signed by the appearance of blisters which easily break, but they are not itchy.

4. Discoid lupus erythematosus

It is a kind of lupus disease which attacks human skin. There are some Symptoms that may appear such as severe rashes which are inclined to get worse when it is exposed to the direct sunlight. These may appear on any part of the human body like on the scalp, neck, face, feet, and hands.
